Monday
Slept at 630am n woke up at 8am by Vincente's morning call.Supposedly to go sch play volleyball.Ended up spending most of our time slacking here n there..cos all the courts were used for the basketball BIG game. Felt damn wu liao, so almost everyone left at rnd 12 plus 1.
After much considerations,actually decided to to go visit wai po..but ended up meetin anata at Compass pt.
Tuesday
Training.New guy called Yen Kai came to join the guy's training.
After training went Redhill market to makan. Home sweet home.
Thursday
Went sch at 9am for 1st cell culture workshop for FYP.
Learnt the using of hoods,practising aspetic techniques when working with pipettes,reagents and cells. Lots of ethanol used. Also learnt Cell culturing procedures, trypsinization and cell counting using hemocytometer. Lab finally ended at 4pm..one hr earlier than expected.
Went for gym with the gurls..den for training.
Hmm..something unpleasant happened during the training. But i guess it made us more reflective upon our own attitudes.
Went home alone after training cos wasn't feeling well ba.
Anyway, i think my injury is deteriorating still. =[
Friday
2nd day cell culture workshop at 2pm.
Had a surprise practical test n theory test.
But i guess my team is still not too organized.Spent quite a long time coming up with the procedures for the task we're given to complete.
On whole,we din do well for the practical test. I think it's cos everyone was too nervous when working in the hood...plus there were confusions here n there about how much reagents to add..and using which kind of pipette tips.. Plus having Cherry as our co-PI, scrutinizing our every step...it's total horror.
Anway,managed to survive till 6pm when we're finally let off. Went RC cartel to meet Mw and Jsee..makan,den had chat while makaning. Was just into the climax, when i had to leave n meet HL n CS..
Afterwhich, HL,CS n I dcided to change our coffee session at Starbucks, to Crepes n Cream at Citylink.
Hmm..Crepes there are rather nice..looks appealing as well. =]
But then, for coffee fanatics out there..i guess it's Nnot an ideal place for coffee. Guess they really Live Up to their Name- CrEpeS n Cream. =D
Had a Great great luff in the train on our way home.Cos saw 3 women in the same cabin,with similar BOMBasTic hairstyles..n i dcided to call tis hairstyle the "Woah". Haha...
k la..tis is an inside joke...but the scenario was really funny..
