On our last night we saw elephant on the street of Bangkok. 20baht for feeding n photo taking.

We went for the thai foot massage on the last night too. It was painful yet shiok. (:

The masseuses n masseur were very friendly too .

Recommended. Just a few seconds walk from our apartment. It's called Lavender.

Bangkok trip from 5th to 9th Dec.

Basically a shopping trip. Satisfied with the "harvest" (:

Before boarding the plane. Very early at 6am.

The place we stayed for the 5D4N. Centre Point,15 Petchburi Rd.

Standard of service, cleaniness, comfort & convenience, I'll rate - Highly recommended.

Very very affordable rates as well.

We went Big C for 'marketing'. Look at the amt of things we bought.

We were lucky enough to witness the citizens celebrating Thailand King's 80th birthday!

Almost everyone was in Yellow top tt day. Tt showed how much they respect their King!

They had fireworks for 3 consecutive days too.

The big screen outside shopping mall was broadcasting the celebration live.

We went Chinatown. Finally heard tt familiar language spoken there.

Pampered ourselves with a good meal. Sharkfins soup for 360 baht. Yummyyy.

Bird nest for take away. 500 baht.

Have been helping out at aunt's stall for past few days.

It's been a great experience. Tend products,stall and customers. It's a different experience as compared to the 8 to 5 office hour kind of environment.

Caught BEOWULF on wed.

Din expect that the show turned out to be computer animation.Although the characters may seem pretty real, but still the fact tt it's animation, made the show rather disappointing overall.

I think the movie whld be really impressive if it were all real.

Met up with anata,jsee,da el,darren a few times last week.

The trip this december has been confirmed. Finally.Finally after so many changes tt I thought it might not be successful.

Hope it'll be a great trip. (:

Oh yeah, I wanna introduce my smart cousin.

He can actually tell u the train stations in sequence from Pasir Ris,EW1 to Boon Lay EW27.

He knows what bus to take from grandma's hse to JE n BL interchanges.

He knows tt amara hotel is located at tanjong pagar.

He knows it's the spinning propeller that cause the helicopter to move.

I happened to chance upon some really old msn dialogues history just awhile ago.
N the conversations actually made me realised something...
Sometimes when we're too focused on working hard n living life at such fast pace,
we lost track or forget:
-Our initial objective,
-as well as the initial "special reason" that triggered off our motivation.

I personally feel that I have long forgotten those points along the way when I didn't realised I've been living rather blindly.
It's such a waste.
Probably I've ignored many things along the way too.
It's good to occasionally slow down our pace n look back at our life, to reevaluate n remind ourselves, the primary trigger for our motivation & purpose of working so hard.

Friday
Went for Sakura @ Science centre.
It was a meet up dinner with Keng. (: It's been 3months plus since she left the company.
We stayed pretty long at the place before leaving.
Then after which decided to head to the nearby coffeeshop for kopi n teh.
So all 7 of us squeezed into Mark's car.Luckily it was a less than 5mins ride,otherwise it whld have been too taxing for the poor car. ahaha..
n poor bryan nearly got his face slammed by the car door. All thanx to Keng...bryan's expression was really funny at tt point of time la...bth...
n topic of the night was interesting...
tampons,sanitary pads,underwears...
Many hilarious stories...laughed till we nearly fell off our chairs. :D
Just imagine in the early 70s when sanitary pads were first introduced n very expensive. Females w/o the relevant knowledge of how to use them,might have bad experiences.
Such as like...flipping it upside down, sticking it to the wrong place.
LOL... ...

Well,I count myself really fortunate enough to be able to enjoy such comfort now.

Good Morning!
Surprisingly that I actually managed to get my ass out of bed by 9am for both yesterday n tday.
Don't know why but couldn't get back to slp.
Went K with Da el,anata n limay yesterday at Int.building. Had been so looking forward cos I've been wanting to K so much.
Things were fine until on the way home when I felt inconsistent pain somewhere around the abdominal area. Limay claimed it might be the gastric..? Im not sure how gastric pain feels like thou...anw I tried warm milk n it din really work but I had a sound sleep faster after tt...haha...

On yeah I wanna recommend this HongKong series- Forensic Heroes (Fa Zheng Xian Feng). Atcually I happened to chance upon this show a few months back at TS when they were playing it in the shop. But I only started watching it yesterday on the web n it's nice. Pretty impressed by the show.Hong Kong shows are much impressive n genuine.

Wednesday was the last dance lesson.

Badminton yesterday at Bukit Gombak. Bryan,carole,wy,sean n mark came.
Yeah now we've gotten a new member to the grp - mark. n probably neo too.

On work's note - I've made quite afew mistakes lately on the Guardian OOS. Been only picking up this new reporting task for a week n already many mistakes. Feel so paiseh towards carole cos she has to pick up the shit i've made, I suck at reporting ...Anw I think it's good to use this opportunity to learn.

Badminton as usual on Friday. Alwats felt good sweating after such work-outs.

Had prata at the prata store tt Bryan recommended. The kambing soup was nice n cheap. Only $2.50! Plain prata was yummie too. 5 person,inclusive of food n drinks,only bt 20bucks. Very worth.

Saturday.Met up with Jsee n Zann finally after many months.

Sorry la girls. I know Im "busy" like wat ure said. Hahah...Im jus lazyyyy.

Met up at Chinatown cos I've planned to bring the girls to Togi for some Korean food. Glad tt they like the traditional korean food there.

Walked over to Central for window shopping. Actually it's a boring place. The girls were craving for desserts desperately just shortly our dinner. Zann was craving for green tea milk shake since tt was her latest addiction. So, we accidentally chanced upon this japanese restaurant cum cafe n thought we should try. But it was disappointment la...cos nothing on the menu attracted us. No green tea milk shake also. However,the waitress suggested to Zann tt maybe she could try the green tea latte (actually is jus green tea with milk...)

Finally she was satisfied.

Jsee on the otherhand was complaining there's no proper dessert (according to her definition of dessert, a proper dessert should consist of ice cream)

Hence, after finishing our drinks, we had a long long walk to search for a better dessert place.

It was a walking exercise from Clarke quay to Somerset.

Was so happy that we settled down at Coffee club cos it was so coooooooling...

Jsee was contented with muddy mud pie finally.

2 saturdays ago I suddenly wanted to get out of jw so much tt I called the usual dksh group for supper at Bukit Timah. They told me they were surprised due to the fact tt it's uncommon for me to initiate meet ups. All of them turned up (:
Had prata n teh and not long after,we were sitting down at macdonalds for drinks again.
It's e usual chit chat n updating each other the indepth of things tt happened in office for the past few weeks. As u see,certain things are more appropriate to be shared after working hours. Hehe...
Nobody realised tt it was already past 1am, so we finally decided to head home.
After seeing yy n cc board the cabs, mc,yl,bryn n me shared one.
Call me a coward cos i think returning home alone after 1am is scary nw. Thus, thanks mc for walking me to my doorstep!!

On friday had badminton at gombak sports complex.
it was nice meeting wy's bf,sean. He's one funny person. Funny conversations during our group dinner after badminton. n It's been awhile since I had the chance to laugh till my stomach cramp. :D
It was close to 1130 when we left. 187 home.
Caught Balls of Fury on saturday. 2 outta 5 popcorns.
The zi ca at 925 Yishun was nicer. 6 dishes, 50 plus bucks for 5 person. Still reasonable.
The cripsy beancurd with mayo was nice. yummyy...
Came back to je n loitered arnd,had coffee,sslacked n home sweet home.

Went for high-tea buffet at Tiffany@Furama hotel with colleagues today.
Hmm not many variety for the food there. It was just okay. But still we managed to stay there for bt 2 n1/2 hrs.
Walked over to Yue Hwa n shopped arnd. Was trying on those Chinese traditional kind of coat for fun n they say I shld just get the kids one. Save money n dont nid altering...
...how good rite...haha...but some of the kids one are really nicer.
Went over to OG to look at luggages. Carole advised tt it'll be better to get my own luggage since i might need to use it more than once. Anw landed my eyes on a pink hush puppies 20'' , $79 promo price, org. price $106 plus, if im nt wrong. I think it's quite a gd deal.
Still,decided to keep my options open.
After much windown shopping, decided to head somewhere else.
Came bk to clementi n Carole suggested we have Fish n Chips at the coffeshop beside the cinema. 4 person to a plate of fish n chips...haha..n i was quite afraid the boss whld find out tt i took so many sets of cutlery for a set of fish n chip.
Chilled out at mac. Chit chat,chit chat n chitttt chattttttttttttttt....

Back to blog. Have been really lazy recently to even come online.
There'd been some minor ups n downs during the past few weeks.

Basically no big changes except that another colleague is leaving. Have been feeling rather upset this time because she's actually the one n only back-up for my tasks.
Looking at it from a selfish side; means that my workload will increase tremendously in her absence.
However on the emotional side; She's been my good "neighbour" and responsible partner for the pass 6 mths. I'll definitely gonna miss her and her presence. (All e very best ,good neighbour!)

When such similar cases have happened so many times b4 in this dept...what else still can be said...it's the company n its management...Just sum it up, it's uncherished and taken for granted.

Jaye is leaving too. But his is for a better prospect and more room for performance. I seriously hope he'll be able to achieve more in many ways. Doo keep it up. (:

Haven been updating for v long time. Let's just update on the more memorable events.

2nd June saturday.

Woke up very early n took e train to Changi Ferry Terminal. We took a bumb boat to this little island for a one day eat n play trip.Yeap together with my colleagues-Angeline, Gary (Zuellig),Money (Zuellig), Janice,wanling,carole,iris,yan yin,keng and jaye.

After 45 mins ride,finally got down at Perangang.

Splitted up into 3 cabs and first headed to the Mango Farm. Hohoho...we could spell the mango even b4 we alighted from the cab. Delicious!

Most of us bought a few kgs of the mangoes cos they were really cheap(3kg for 5rm) n juicy!After a short stay at mango farm, we went to this house owned by an old couple. They sell self-marinated n preserved fruits. The marinated mango were really sour but nice. n they had swings (:

After hanging around for quite a while, we walked under the super scorching sun to our main destination.
The place to eat seafood.- Laut you kee.

After filling our stomachs, the nice boss of the seafood restaurant drove us back to the jetty.

They had these mountain chicken half boiled eggs at the little shop nearby the jetty. The eggs are smaller than the normal chicken eggs. But the egg yolks are bigger than those of the usual egg yolks we eat here.

After everyone had our fill of fun...n it was time to bid good bye to the island.

Happy 22nd Bdae to Anata Meifong**
There were Da de,Mf,da eeling,phloy,angela,sii,elaine n i. Went to the $10 club at Chinatown for ktv. Initally I thought it would be some old old club...hehehe...but luckily the songs were rather updated and place was comfy. Except for the part when our room suddenly blacked out bcos the electricity tripped and the session was only 7pm-10pm.
Angela and phloy had to leave.
So the rest of us headed to chinatown pt to meet jaye. But he went "missing" for awhile b4 he finally appeared. *bish*
After much shilly-shallying, we 124-ed to Orchard. Had drinks at NYDC and bought a slice of cake for anata,but she claimed it tasted "weird".

Sometimes I think that life is beautiful. I feel myself filled with motivation and hopes.
However I think my mind seems to be Very Good at doing the 180 degrees somersaults.
Example like:

Today at work, with quite a few pending things yet to settle on hand, I turned to Carole, “Don’t you feel sian sometimes? What keeps you moving on?”
She didn’t answer me of course.
I know it could be the unsettled issues that are still laying around that make me feel insecure. You understand the weird feeling you get??
When you know you have not settled some issues or completed any tasks, because another few more matters flow in and take up your time and attention? Or simply because it’s time for home?
Hence you have to cast the piles till the next day.
I just dislike this feeling.
It’s insecurity plus the piling up of incomplete tasks.
Well maybe I am inefficient.

Woke up at 8am. Met up at 930 at Lot1 for breakfast. Managed to smuggle soya bean milk from Jolly Bean into Wan Cai cafe.Love the meat floss thick toast there. (:
Waited for about 30mins for 927...seemed like forever man...Luckily the journey was pretty fast. Yeaps yeap...we were going to the Zooooooo.
Spent close to 6hours exploring and touring the place. A few places were under upgrading works, so didn't get to see the penguins, flamingos,sea lions...Despite being trapped in the rain for awhile, the trip was fun. (:

Went bai-nianing at Carole's hse.Carole's sis n carole prepared lots of food for us. The food are nice and black jack was fun with 9 pple playing.

After bai nian, yl,chai,jaye n I decided to catch Protege at West Mall, 11pm slot. Pretty orite show. Leo Ku's character was deceivingly real. But the scene with the mice all over the woman's body was disgusting....-_-".

25th Feb

Went praying in mid afternoon, then went to JP to get Phloy's bdae pressie and lastly headed

to aloha changi Halton bungalow for her 21st bdae BBQ. Happy 21st Phloy !*

Manage to catch up with a few girls and boys.

Jaye came down for a while and we left together with jsee n angela for home.

It was soon 1am when I got home. Very soon fell into lala land.

26th & 27th Feb

Work's super super busy w/o Carole's presence, especially on 27th which was also our sales closing for the month. Was rushing to finish the huge stack of orders that kept flowing in. Skipped lunch and only went for 1 fast toilet break throughout the whole day.

Christmas countdown was at Jonathan's place. He invited the few of us over for this mini gathering with him n his wife. Jaye whipped up spaghetti, creamy soup n tang yuan for us. Had harshbrowns,nuggets & ham too. Countdown was cutting n eating of the prettieee logcake (:
Played game, watched "see no evil" (grossssssssss), ghost story telling, slacked n soon it was already 3am plus. Home sweet home.

25th Dec

Only had 4 hrs of slp. -_-
Went city hall n had the korean steamboat at Awon restaurant with dearest Uncontrollables!
Superrrrrr yummmyyy. 2nd time there n I still agree tt it's e most worthy steamboat.
Air-conditioned, good service from the waitress n waiters there. They dun get irritated when we kept asking for more tang hoon! hehe...
Overall i give em 4.5 outta 5 stars!
The uncontrolled xmas present xchange was on. Thanx Huilan for your present! They smell gr8. (: Shiqi n Cs, thanx for the christmas sock. It's really pretty!

After departing with the uncontrolled, met up with jaye, jon n wife. Headed to Jon's place again. haha...
His mum invited us over for bee hoon.
Jon rented "Ant Bully". Funny cartoon...hilarious.
Reached home bt 9pm. Was seriously slppppyyy today. There's work tmr. Hopefully will be able to tong man.

The steamboat on last saturday left me with diarrhea. Darn.

Went for light snacks at je mac after tt wit yl,chai n carole.
Headed down to jurong pt for mooviee after tt.
The movie slot permitted n we went mac cafe for coffee when jaye joined us.
That was my 1st mid-might movie thou. haha...but was really sleeeepy b4 e movie started.
Luckily the movie was rather interesting,managed to keep me awake throughout.

Went to the motorshow yesterday. Wit Jerrica, chai n yl.
Had a lill arguement with Jerrica, but things are fine now.
However, i have to admit n declare tt i know NUTS bt cars except looking at them, feeling impressed n going "WOw!"
Slacked at the Bonsai garden for quite a while after the show when jaye joined us.

Left to meet Vincente n pple after tt. I was lateeeeee.
It was Vincente's 22nd birthday n we had mala steamboat at this Chong Qing shop at kallang.
All were Chinamen except our grp, cos apparently e boss's a china man too. He's nice thou.
The food's orite. Not tt Im super hygenic, but some of the china men were really unhygenic. arghhh...
Dr Loke performed magic as our after-dinner entertainment..n i gt suaned by the rest la. Cos I couldn't catch e concept of the magic..I'm wols ma.
Some left while the rest of us headed to Parklane for pool. Played for 2 hours plus.

Jaye came over cos he din want to go home. Only managed to play one game cos all of us wanted to go home already.

The work team building activity ended at 115pm.
With Carole,Jerrica n Yahling,cabbed down to Suntec City's Kuishinbo to join e rest for buffet.
Din have appetite to try all of the food there thou. Abit wasted.
As usual, carole,dawn,leena n their sister went bk for their majong game.
Leaving jaye,chai,jerrica,yl n me to plan our own activity.
Walked bk to marina sq for movie.
Decided on The Convenant initially,but couldn't catch a suitable slot,so caught The Grudge 2 instead. Boringggggg show seriously.
Had tea with chai n yl for awhile before leaving . Hah, met Vincente at e station..haven seen him for a longgg time. Hope we'll meet up soon!
Anw chai n yl alighted at Dhoby Ghuat while i went somerset to meet CM. Waited an hour for him la! told him i'll dig out his eyeballs man. lol...

Went bk for job training in e morning.After which headed to Vivocity with few colleagues.
Had lunch at Sushi Tei. Waiting time was bt 45mins...but rather worth cos the view was nice in there. It was facing the sea and we chld see the monorail,cable cars,the big word SENTOSA n the port fromhere.

Yummy food and funny companions. Carole's oways spice up the atmosphere la. It was rreally funny. Dawn n her left for their majonging. So, e 4 of us headed to PS since vivo GV din have a suitable timeslot.
Decided to catch SILK at Cathay. 1st time there thou and the cinema seat is rather spacious n comfty. Worth going bk there for movie.
Anw, SILK was orite only I thought.
It's bt a jap scientist with his grp of research team,working on his menger sponge project.He was tryin to achieve this thing-anti gravity and probably life after death. According to him,spirit of a dead person cannot stay very long,but they "caught" this lill boy's spirit which has been arnd for a very long time.This lill boy became the team's investigational item.
Not really scary but with a combi of scenes tt might touch the hearts. Not sure for the rest,but they touched mine la.

Met up with uncontrollable at Holland V after tt.

Waited for 2 hrs in e salon for mummy to dye her hair n then went for a short grocery shopping. Got snacks to bring to work. haha...gt Wang zai xiao man tou, some Japanese original flavoured rice crackers n e Snowflakes crackers.
Btw, Tim Tam is nice too! Yummm yummm :D

Thursday:
Went for interview.
They said they will call on Monday to confirm the result.

After interview,headed bk to woodlands campus to meet the rest.
Played ball for awhile before leaving for training at PHS.

Coach brought her 2 daughters along. CUte! n hyperactive.

they seem to have their ways to deal with kids

Our team:
zhijun,gillian,sihui,phloy,mel n me.
Opponent team:
mwei,elaine,mad,rena,shuhui n janis.

Our team lost...n had to do broad jumps again.
haha..but coach was nice this time rnd to pardon us from the burbis for failed service.

Friday:
Happy Vesak day.
Stayed home all day n rotted away.

Insomnia again. 11pm to 3am.
Luckily I have puzzle bobbles n fm radio on my hp
to acc me tru the sleeplesssss hours.

Tuesday:
Went to school to meet the rest
n then down to PHS for training.

Although performances weren't good,
BUT
the people present spiced up the whole atmosphere
and made up for it. Haha...

It was funnnn, funnyyy tooo.
Meiwei was laughing real madly,although i dunno wat she was laughing at,
but lookin at her laughed was hilarious.

Played games
Our team had Mwei,Phloy,Tiffer,Elaine,Shuhui,Mad n me.
Opponent had Sihui,Gillian,Rena,Shirui,Mel,Xiaoling n a new girl.

The losing team (which was our team),had to do broad jump 4 times to n fro the court's length
and 60 burbis (dunno hw to spell) cos 3 failed services...
hahha..paiseh pple!
cos i contributed one failed de.
lol...

Anw,it was nice seeing e familiar faces again. (:
n more new faces are coming in too

Went makan wit some girls after training n headed home.
Glad I made it back by 1030pm...phew...
